How is the leak sealed?

First, a 0 measurement is taken to determine the leak tightness class. Next, sealant is injected under positive pressure, which then diffuses and seals the leaks. A leak produces an increased air velocity (pressure) and at that higher pressure the sealant hardens. The duct remains clean and the leaks are sealed. The customer can choose up to which density class to seal. After sealing, NorthSeal provides a follow-up measurement and report.
