Support handles in black: comfort, well-being and design for everyone

The Delabie Group, an expert in accessible and sanitary products for public spaces, is expanding its Be-Line® range with a new finish in matte black. From now on, support handles are also available entirely in black.

Be-Line® grab bars and shower seats remove the stigmatizing aspect of accessible sanitation for people with temporary, partial or permanent loss of mobility. These innovative products make sanitation both pleasant and accessible. Their aesthetic design is characterized by clean, unobtrusive lines that blend naturally into the space.

Go for all black

The different finishes provide a visual contrast to the wall and adapt to all types of interior styles. For a "Total BLACK look," these handles complete the BLACK SPIRIT range, which already includes electronic faucets, soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, clothes hooks and hand dryers, as well as sinks, toilets and urinals. This elegant range in black supports the upgrading of sanitary facilities in public areas. After all, plumbing today is considered a signboard for institutions.

Like all Delabie accessibility products, this Be-Line® range also offers a ten-year warranty. The handles are suitable for everyone: shared use of the washroom is more pleasant and gives each user a feeling of well-being and comfort.

Black, also stylish in public places 

Black is timeless and a fixture that gives a stylish look to sanitary ware and creates a retro and industrial atmosphere. Delabie knows the need to design specific products that can withstand intensive use and are easy to clean. This is to ensure optimal hygiene for all users. This is why Delabie chose to also develop a range of sanitary appliances in 304 stainless steel with a matte black Teflon® finish. These new sinks, toilets and urinals respond to both the black trend in sanitation and the requirements for public buildings. 

Teflon®

Teflon® or PTFE is a material that is resistant to chemical products. This is the same material used for pans and cooking pots in the kitchen. However, sanitary fixtures (sink, toilet, urinal) are not exposed to the same stresses as a pan in the kitchen (high temperatures, use of cutting material such as a knife), so the black finish will remain intact longer. In addition, Teflon® has limited grip. Lime scale, the main enemy of black color, will therefore have difficulty adhering. Consequently, maintenance and cleaning of your sanitary appliances are simplified. 

German Design Award

The FINO design urinal in stainless steel with a finish in matte black Teflon® has now been awarded a Special mention at the German Design Award 2023. This prize, awarded by the jury of experts of the German Design Council, is known within the world of design competitions as one of the most recognized in the world and has gained a solid reputation. Every year, various design products are judged and selected for their individual innovative contribution. This FINO design urinal does not weigh much and is easy to install. The hidden siphon is ideal for use in public areas such as restaurants, schools or offices. 

The TEMPOFLUX 3, a self-closing toilet faucet with direct flush, also won awards. This product won the Muuuz International Awards 2022 in the Interior Equipment category.
