Smappee, the Belgian market leader in energy management and smart charging solutions, opened today in Naarden its first service center and showroom in the Netherlands. Smappee has been active in the Dutch market for several years and wants to further strengthen its position as an authority in energy management, storage and charging. The company aims to at least double its sales in the Netherlands in two years. The Netherlands is and will remain an important growth market, as demand for EVs continues to rise. Moreover, the electricity market is also facing increasing congestion problems, which are limiting industrial development in many places. Smappee offers a solution for this with intelligent energy control technology and smart charging stations, both at home and at the office.

Charging Station with Artificial Intelligence

Smappee uses AI-analyzed data to dynamically match energy consumption to available solar power or cheapest expected tariff. The Smappee ecosystem can control the smart devices in your home or business, i.e. your EV charging station, but also the heat pump, air conditioner, washing machine, dryer, etc. In an intuitive and user-friendly app, you always see the exact consumption of these devices and one or more devices are simultaneously smartly controlled according to user preference, based on convenience or lowest price. Another advantage is that through the Smappee App you can effortlessly transfer the excess energy from your solar panels, for example, to your charging station or other electrical devices.
