Installation company FH Loohuis is providing the entire sustainable electrical installation for the Coulisse Campus project of window decoration manufacturer Coulisse in Enter. "The lines are short and we can switch quickly," says Loohuis.
FH Loohuis is Coulisse's regular installation partner and was awarded the work through a tender process. The installation company has existed for nearly seventy years and has more than two hundred employees. The company specializes in installations in the broadest sense of the word: from sockets to water pipes, solar panels and battery packs.
For this project, the electrical installation includes outlets, lighting and connections for the logistics equipment, such as the robots in the distribution center. There will be 1,250 solar panels on the building. Director Arjan Loohuis: "There could have been more, but because of the problems with supplying power back to the grid, we chose to generate only for our own use."
In addition to the complete electrical installation, FH Loohuis is also taking care of the water pipes throughout the building, the waste water and rainwater drainage and the installation of the plumbing. All in all, it is quite a big project for the installation company, but thanks to a pleasant cooperation with the client, everything is going smoothly. "The lines of communication are short and we can move quickly. In the preliminary stages of the tender, the project already began to come alive for us," Loohuis says. "There are of course various logistics processes running in such a distribution center and it is nice to be able to realize that optimally together in good consultation. Also with the other parties on the construction site, who all come from this region. Coulisse likes working with parties from Twente."
