Divisible unit increases ease of installation

The Schools^oConcept by Klimaatgroep Holland is a proven method to get the right ventilation and temperature in every classroom. The decentralized system complies with Frisse Scholen class B. At VSK+E, Klimaatgroep Holland presented the new Comfort^oPlus CPR14.30 i-WTW. This unit is divisible, allowing the installer to experience even greater ease of installation.

With the all-in-one ventilation units of the Schools^oConcept you can fully automatic heating and cooling in addition to ventilation. Shading and lighting can also be connected to it. Sensors measure temperature, CO2 levels and the presence of people in the room. Based on these measurements, the air is distributed draught-free in the room. 

The concept has been around for 15 years, but continues to evolve in consultation with education. Meanwhile, the units are already hanging in some 10,000 classrooms. "The big advantage is that with a decentralized system you need fewer ducts in the building and you don't experience adjustment problems. At 32.5 dB(A), it is the quietest unit on the market. Thanks to heat recovery with a 100% separated airflow, it is very energy efficient. Night cooling ensures that everyone starts in the morning in a fresh classroom," says Jan Geert Wind, advisor of the Scholen^oConcept.

ComfortºPlus CPR14.30

The newest model unit, the Comfort^oPlus CPR14.30, has a length of 2.56 meters and is mounted on the ceiling. It is divisible, leaving you with a 1-meter and 1.56-meter section. Says Jan Geert Wind, "This is lighter and therefore easier for the installer to install." As an extra, a recirculation section was added, which makes heating the building even less energy consuming. Otherwise, the concept remains familiar and reliable as always. A control panel on the wall allows the teacher to set the temperature. The units are designed so that they can be equipped with a water battery or a DX battery. There is thus the possibility of a gasless system.

As standard, the units are connected to Klimaatgroep Holland's control room, which is monitored 24/7. The school receives its own log-in data so that it always has insight into the measured values. Moreover, a ten-year product and performance warranty is offered, so that the performance and costs for maintenance and repairs are known in advance.

DUMAVA grant

Climate Group Holland presented the Comfort^oPlus CPR14.30 during VSK+E in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. The reactions were favorable, says Jan Geert Wind. "We had a good fair with a lot of traffic. The visitors thought the recirculation section was a nice addition to the unit. Installers in particular were pleased with the increased ease of installation. The reactions were positive."

A nice touch is that the Schools^oConcept meets the requirements of the Sustainable Social Real Estate Subsidy Scheme (DUMAVA), effective June 3, 2024. This will make it even more attractive to make social real estate sustainable with a proven reliable system like the Schools^oConcept.
