Promat is a commercial brand of Etex, within the Building Performance division, and is known as a global manufacturer of fire resistant calcium silicate boards, fire resistant intumescent paints, fire resistant spray mortars and a wide range of Fire Stopping & Fire Sealing products. Promat is the brand dedicated to passive fire protection. Passive fire protection solutions are products that, in a reasoned and elaborate application, offer a certain fire resistance. This allows a building to be compartmentalized and to ensure that a fire does not immediately spread to other parts of a building. By allowing materials to retain their function for a certain period of time, you gain valuable time.

Broad scope of application

Depending on the application and the required fire resistance, our products can be used for fire-resistant compartmentation, protection of supporting structures (steel, concrete and wood), ventilation and smoke extraction ducts, fire-resistant sealing of penetrations and protection of technical installations.
